The problem
Studios run on WhatsApp, a paper diary and a card machine. Cancellations go unnoticed, no-shows are untracked, and instructor schedules live in someone's head — so the business cannot see its own utilisation.

The approach
We modelled the schedule as the core domain object and built everything else around it: bookings reference sessions, attendance references bookings, and instructors are assigned to sessions rather than owning separate calendars. Content authoring was included because studios market through their own pages, and a separate CMS would have doubled the cost of every change.

The outcome
One system now holds schedule, bookings, attendance and content, which is what makes utilisation visible and no-show patterns fixable.
